Strolling Around in San Diego, CA

Strolling Around in San Diego, CA

Since we started our travels, this was the first time we deviated from the planned route to avoid the rainy weather in northern California.

We decided to go to San Diego, CA, fifteen miles from the Mexican border. We stayed in a lovely, comfortable Airbnb in the Sherman Heights district. Because of the beautiful weather, we walked many miles to feel the city’s atmosphere.

Here is a collection of the iconic highlights we saw.: The views over the town from Balboa Park, several beautiful historic buildings in the park, the aircraft carrier Midway at the waterfront, the “Unconditional Surrender ” statue, Seaport Village, and the Gaslamp Quarter.
