We escaped the heat in Spokane, WA, and went hiking in Mount Spokane State Park. This state park is an hour’s drive northeast of Spokane!
We followed the well-marked Quartz Mountain Fire Lookout Trail up to Quartz Mountain, a moderately challenging hike. Blooming meadows, evergreen forests, and spectacular views of the surroundings, it never gets boring!
