Forest Adventures and Neighborhood Walks

Our Lovely Escape in Tallahassee, FL

While staying in Tallahassee, we enjoyed several hikes in our cozy neighborhood and the nearby Lake Talquin State Forest. Since the weather was often pleasant, we did not need to bundle up in heavy coats to enjoy the outdoors.
We started walking on January 27, exploring our neighborhood for the first time after a morning grocery run. With well-kept streets and charming houses, we felt like we were home away from home. Our 7-mile loop in the serene Lake Talquin State Forest nearby was both challenging and rewarding.

.

On the days we stayed at home, we revisited the area and state park several times. Even on rainy days, we took advantage of the mild temperatures by going outside to enjoy the fresh air. Consequently, our stay in Tallahassee went by quickly; we were packing our stuff again before we knew it.

On Saturday, February 5, just before 11 a.m., we checked out and were on our way again. However, not after we thanked the house and host for providing a relaxing stay in this spacious, clean house.
