Four Days Weren’t Enough

The Best Western in Arlington was a wonderful starting point for exploring the D.C.’s museums and monuments. From there, we found it very easy to see Washington, D.C.’s highlights by walking or using public transportation.
Despite a four-day stay, time really flew by, and before we knew it, we were up early, taking the shuttle and catching our flight back to Portland, OR. Our marvelous break in D.C. left us wanting more, as there was too much to see in too little time. A return visit is definitely on the list, and that hardly seems like a punishment!
Thankfully, the shuttle, plane, and tram went smoothly, and we returned to Hillsboro by late afternoon. It was good to be home and greeted by our two purring cats … we missed you, too!
