Sequoia & Kings Canyon NPS - Day 3
Hiking the Hidden Gem of Marble Falls Trail
On our last visit to Sequoia National Park, we saw no Sequoia trees but hiked one of the park’s hidden gems, the Marble Falls Trail. Along the way, we enjoyed the varied scenery of the Sierra Nevada foothills. However, the highlight was the marble-polished waterfall itself.

.
The weather quickly changed, with approaching dark clouds that looked threatening. We, therefore, didn’t stay long at the falls since we still had to hike 3.5 miles back to the parking lot. As a photographer, I do like these dark skies, though, making the surroundings colorful and impressive. Thankfully, we only felt a few drops while descending; we returned in time before it started raining.
