Exploring Dali's Surreal World

The Salvador Dali Museum, St. Petersburg, was on our bucket list to visit. I love that I took art history classes in college since they helped me understand and appreciate Dali’s surrealistic art and unconventional way of expressing emotions. The Surrealism movement believed personal liberation through self-expression could contribute to a better world.

We strolled through beautiful St. Petersburg afterward, exploring the lively downtown, relaxing by Mirror Lake, and admiring the historic district. The views from St. Pete Pier were simply stunning. Before driving home, we enjoyed delicious sushi and Thai food at The Lemon Grass restaurant. St. Petersburg surprised us, and it certainly is one of the cities where we would happily spend more time than just one short afternoon.
