Experiencing The Magic Northern Lights at Naturalis
A few friends and I attended the show “Noorderlicht” (Northern Lights) and explored a few floors of the Naturalis Biodiversity Center in Leiden.
This was the first time I visited the “amazing world of nature” in this museum, even though my husband and I regularly traveled to Leiden to visit family since its opening in 1998.
I felt like sitting outside under the starry sky during the show while being mesmerized by the colors and beauty of the northern lights. I also learned about the meaning of this phenomenon to ancient tribes and the origin of the spectacle.
The building and the other exhibitions were also exquisite. I definitely plan on returning and spend more time to explore the rest of this huge museum!
