Fort Bragg, CA

A Week in Fort Bragg

And after an active week, it was time to check out again. We loved this cozy, quiet place in Fort Bragg in the center of California’s Mendocino Coast. The area is a hidden gem with a wild ocean, a rough shoreline, stunning beaches, and charming towns.

We left early in the morning since we had a long day driving ahead. This time, we also said goodbye to beautiful California, the Pacific Ocean, and the fantastic soft autumn weather. We are returning to Oregon to the mountains with cold wintery weather.

While driving, Mount Shasta captivated our attention. The mountain is a sleeping volcano and towers over the Siskiyou Mountains. Dominating the landscape for miles, this white giant was even visible at our next destination in Klamath Falls, OR.
