Kröller-Müller Museum
Fernand Léger and The Rooftops of Paris.
.
A Memorable Day at The Kröller-Müller Museum in Otterlo.
The Kröller-Müller museum and grounds exhibit the immense art collection Helene Kröller-Müller and her husband collected in the 20th century.
The museum houses the second-largest Van Gogh collection in the world (after the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam). I loved that the place wasn’t crowded with tourists.
I was pleasantly surprised with the exhibition of “Fernand Léger and the rooftops of Paris.” I love his Cubist masterpieces.
The museum itself was worthwhile to visit; its surroundings were as well since it is located in the Hoge Veluwe National Park. We only saw a small part of this park while walking a few miles to and from the museum. Bikes are included in the park’s entrance fee. We have to return on a summer day to cycle through and explore this enormous park on one of those provided free “white” bikes.
