Around 3:30 p.m., we arrived at our new location after a scenic 5.5-hour drive from Memphis. With stops in Mississippi and Alabama, we’ve explored all the lower 48 states. Only Alaska and Hawaii remain to complete our ambitious goal of visiting all fifty states
Our charming Airbnb is in the heart of Old Alabama Town, a living history museum depicting a 19th-century Southern village. Our beautiful colonial-style house is a piece of history, with high ceilings, old wooden floors, and large furniture that perfectly complements this period.
The best part? We can discard the car for the next few days! Every museum we’ve set our sights on and every landmark we want to see is within walking distance of our charming place.
