On Saturday, August 4th, we went to Chicago Midway airport and flew to Orlando, Florida, for a one-week vacation. We arrived about 3 hours later at the airport. After picking up our rental, we quickly drove to our apartment in Kissimmee in less than an hour. We felt welcomed when we opened the door; the condo was clean, spacious, luxurious, and comfortable.
After unpacking and settling in, we wanted to swim in the adjacent swimming pool. However, we first had to go to a mall in Orlando. While changing, our youngest realized he had forgotten to pack his swimming trousers … We had to go out anyway to buy groceries.
Because it was already late when we came back, we decided to spend the rest of the afternoon in the swimming pool. We read the brochures the sons had chosen about the many activities in the area, negotiated the activities, and made a schedule for the rest of the week.
