Miami's Little River Getaway

Our Airbnb in Miami was located in the historic Little River neighborhood, one of Miami’s oldest. We were the first guests in this well-decorated Airbnb. The neighborhood showed quite some contrasts. We saw a beautiful cathedral, new condos, and a lovely park near the river. Unfortunately, we also walked through trash-filled streets.

Despite this, the location was perfect for us. Everything was within easy reach, whether hiking in nearby national parks or sunbathing on the beach! Or shopping on rainy days!

Our Little River Adventure Ends Too Soon!

“Time flies when you are having fun” has been our mantra since it was suddenly time to check out again! Filled with new adventures and much-needed relaxation, these two weeks had flown by.

We had to be ready to check out at 10 am, one hour earlier than we had become used to. We hurried up a little to pack and clean up. Hemmes seemed to understand it was a travel day and willingly let us put him in his carrier which saved us some time!.

Just before checkout, we closed and locked the door of the cute Little River apartment we temporarily called home and drove off to our new destination!
