West Linn, OR
A Warm Welcome, But Not Quite Home
Our home for the next 15 days was the basement of a family home, filled with the energy of three young boys. The renters were friendly and helpful, especially when encountering minor internet and smart TV issues.
Despite their hospitality and the surrounding beauty, this Airbnb wouldn’t be our choice for a future stay. The basement lacked natural light, remaining gloomy even on sunny days. The weather was too chilly to enjoy the veranda, and the energetic boys playing above occasionally disrupted our desired peace and quiet.
Nevertheless, these minor inconveniences couldn’t overshadow the wonderful memories we made in Portland. We cherished time with friends, explored shops, enjoyed walks, runs, an exciting hikes.
